2nd Shift Production Supervisor

With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
We are currently searching for 2nd shift Production Supervisor to join our team at our plant in Fremont, Ohio.
*2pm-10pm Monday- Friday
What you will do:
- Supervision of hourly employees and scheduling of labor
- Ensures safety, quality, housekeeping, and production activities and objectives are being met
- Ensures that all equipment and material necessary to perform the job effectively and safely are in place.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to quality, production, safety, cost control, and employee relations.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in scrap reduction, safety, and process improvements.
- Provide clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing continual feedback.
- Provide associates with inspiration, direction & coaching to achieve work objectives.
- Develop team members accordingly.
- Promote, maintain, and develop lean manufacturing practices.
- Monitor and address output & productivity issues within assigned departments inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product & process quality standards.
- Hold associates accountable for meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
- Assist with administering training for associates.
- Perform and complete various audits as assigned.
- Hold team meetings to present line and company information.
- Advise employees regarding quality and safety alerts and train associates accordingly.
- Provide daily production reporting
- Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management.

What you will bring:
- Requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a union environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of a unionized workforce desired
- Able to work well in a team environment
- High sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
